About Red Horse Photography:
At Red Horse (formerly J. Walker Photography), photography is art. We specialize in capturing the heart of horse sports, but we're certainly not one trick ponies. We don’t shoot at 10 frames per second and hope for a decent image. We are horse people ourselves and strive to capture the most telling and affective moments of the culmination of endless hours of preparation, practice, care, and concentration. We are always searching for the decisive moments, unique aesthetics, emotion, and power that define your milestones or everyday occasions.

HOTELS:
The IDHSNA Show Committee has set up a block of rooms for the 2009 show, in two Best Westerns and one Holiday Inn Express as a group. We have initially asked for 60 rooms, however, we have the option of adding up to another 40 rooms if needed with either this hotel group or another that is four miles away. Reservations for the IDHSNA Block of rooms will close on September 15, 2009.

This group is comprised of three hotels - BEST WESTERN HUNT RIDGE, BEST WESTERN LEXINGTON INN, and the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. The Best Western Hunt Ridge will have 20 rooms set aside for us at $74.99/night plus tax, this is the closest hotel to the Virginia Horse Center (VHC) at ½ mile away, however, please note that they do not offer a free breakfast as they have a restaurant on-site. The Best Western Lexington Inn is 1 mile away and we have booked 40 rooms there at $74.99/night plus tax, they will open their breakfast services at 5:00 AM for 1-4 October 2009. The Holiday Inn Express will take reservations, if they do not fill up the block of rooms set aside for the VMI Reunion weekend. The fee for this hotel is a little more expensive at $109.00/night plus tax, as it is a newer hotel with more amenities. The Holiday Inn Express has an Express Start breakfast which can be opened at 5:00 AM if we have folks staying there that need it open that early.

These hotels do accept pets at $25.00 per stay per pet. Please contact MICHELLE ROBBINS or GILLIAN PEMBERTON if you have any problems making your reservations.

There is also a RV park associated with the VHC which costs $30.00/night with 11% tax. There are 7 to 10 showers available for use in the East Complex and one handicapped shower. Go to the VHC WEBSITE to make reservations.
